Reid... I had such high hopes for you. Not sure what went wrong but when I finished the last sentence of the last page of Good for You I just felt - nothing. I like Dori and I liked Reid but I just felt like there was not real connection between them. Reid's character development from a cocky sex crazed movie star to a guy trying to find himself was wonderful to read. Learning how his mother became an Alcoholic and why his father worked so much made you feel for him and really understand his reckless behavior.Dori's perfect family life and being the daughter of a pastor was a great story line. Her sisters relationship and later injury and the families ability to deal with this tragedy. All made you like Dori as a person. I think for me the disconnect happened when they tried to mesh the celebrity lifestyle with the normal girl going to college idea. I just wasn't feeling it...
